PS5 Sales Surpass 30 Million Units

During the Sony CES 2023 press conference, Sony CEO Jim Ryan announced that the PS5 has sold more than 30 million units worldwide. Back in September 2022, the console sold about 25 million units.

He also revealed that December 2022 was the biggest month ever for PlayStation 5 console sales, which is logical considering that it’s the holiday season and the first holiday season to be after the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, good news for those looking for PS5s to buy because Jim Ryan also said that the PS5 will likely be easier to find and purchase starting this month.
