The Last Of Us HBO Enjoys Record Audience Growth For Second Episode
Guess the Naughty Dog live-action adaptation gamble has paid off.
HBO has announced that its viewership for the service went up 22% in the “largest jump ever for an HBO original drama series”; they’re referring to The Last Of Us live-action adaptation series. The second episode of the show has attracted 5.7 million viewers, up 22% compared to the first episode.
“This marks the largest week 2 audience growth for an HBO Original drama series in the history of the network.”
Next to that, HBO also released a teaser for episode 3 featuring Nick Offerman of Parks & Recreation fame as Bill a post-pandemic survivalist who owes Joel a favour. The show will cover the first game in a span of 9 episodes.
