Publisher Merge Games and developer Dimfrost Studios have revealed their horror-inspired grim adventure Bramble: The Mountain King which will be launching on 27 April for PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.
The popularity of Bramble on social media, with over 44.3 million views on TikTok and support from numerous content creators globally, has caused widespread excitement among players.
The demo for its Nordic horror game, “Näcken Pond”, is currently available on Steam Next Fest and has been downloaded over 50,000 times on both Steam and PlayStation 5, generating much anticipation for the full release. Physical copies of Bramble can be pre-ordered now at Signature Edition Games, and the first 2000 pre-orders will receive a limited edition Skogsrå pin badge.
Bramble: The Mountain King draws on the powerful creatures and rich fables of Nordic myth to spin a unique tale of one boy’s courage in the face of sinister creatures and maddening darkness.
The game has received overwhelming support from players, pushing it to the top trending title worldwide on YouTube over Halloween weekend, and seeing more players immersing themselves in the dark and sodden world of Bramble through the demo each day.
