Capcom Announces Free VR Mode for Resident Evil 4 Remake

Capcom is adding virtual reality (VR) support to the PlayStation 5 version of the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake. The VR mode will be available as a free DLC for players who own the game on PS5 and PlayStation VR2.

A tweet from the official Resident Evil Twitter account confirmed that the VR mode is currently in development, and asked fans to look forward to more details in the future. This will be the first time Resident Evil 4 can be experienced in VR, and it’s sure to add a whole new level of terror to the classic survival horror game.

Resident Evil 4 is set to be released on 24 March for PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, and PC via Steam. The game is a highly anticipated remake of the original Resident Evil 4, which first came out in 2005. The remake features improved graphics, sound, and gameplay mechanics, and will give both new and returning players an opportunity to experience the game like never before.
