Grim Guardians: Demon Purge Boss Walkthrough

Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is the latest 2D Metroidvania-esque game from Inti Creates. It’s a Gal Gun spin-off where Pheromone Power is traded in favour of demon-hunting submachine guns, shikis, and blades.

You play as sisters Shinobu (submachine gun user) and Maya (melee and shiki user) as they tag-team their way through demons, a giant mysterious castle, linear-yet-multipath designs, and most of the cast from past Gal Gun games. Just like Castlevania and the games that inspired it, Grim Guardians has bosses you have to fight and abilities you can score from the main campaign.

Here’s a video guide on how to deal with all of them, complete with timestamps. Note that after you defeat the Granfalloon tribute in the 7th castle apex stage, you will have to revisit the previous areas again, though shortcuts will open this second time around.
