New Neo-Noir Third-Person Shooter El Paso, Elsewhere Set To Launch Fall 2023
Strange Scaffold, the same studio behind games like An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs and Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, just announced a new game called El Paso, Elsewhere. It’s a moody, neo-noir third-person horror shooter and love story all in one. You’ll be able to play it on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam this Fall 2023.
In the game, you play as James Savage, who’s on a mission to save the world from his ex-girlfriend, Draculae, the lord of vampires. She’s conducting a ritual that will destroy the universe, so Savage returns to his hometown of El Paso to kill the monster he once loved. The game takes you through a reality-defying, dimension-shifting void and challenges you to use all the weapons at your disposal to kill the monsters guarding Draculae.
Savage is dealing with both physical and emotional pain, but he’s fueled by pills that keep the pain away. You’ll have to use dual pistols, shotguns, uzis, stakes, and more to make your way through the seemingly-endless motel. And if you’re in a tight spot, you can activate Bullet Time to give yourself an advantage.
Throughout the game, you’ll experience exquisitely designed flashbacks and stylish monologues from Savage. You’ll learn what led to his split from Draculae, as well as how and why he was drawn back. It’s a mind-bending adventure that’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
