Resident Evil 2 Remake Sales Numbers Past 11 Million Mark; RE3 Remake Past 6 Million

Capcom has updated its Platinum Titles list; it’s the company’s most-coveted games that sold over 1 million units like Street Fighter 2.

To sum up the update that highlights new sales numbers as of 31 December 2022, the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes have gone up in sales numbers. The former is now at 11.2 million units sold (an additional 1.1 million), while the latter is at 6.4 million units (an additional 600,000).

We’re guessing this is why Capcom wanted to remake Resident Evil 4; to achieve more future sales by remaking a cherished survival horror action title.
