Apex Legends Mobile To End Service This May
EA and Respawn will be pulling the plug on the mobile version of Apex Legends eight months after being active. The game will shut down on 1st May.
The decision was due to the studio’s side of things. Respawn said that while the game had a “strong start” the “content pipeline” has begun to diminish in terms of quality and quantity. Respawn will shut down Apex Legend Mobile’s in-game store and removing it from digital stores; refunds for in-game purchases will not be given.
“Although disappointing, we are proud of the game we launched, are grateful for the support of the Apex Legends community, and are confident that this is the right decision for players.”
We have made the decision to sunset Apex Legends Mobile.

EA also plans to stop developing Battlefield Mobile as well, citing the same kind of reasons. Moving on…
Heck no! EA and Respawn said that the regular version of the game is still thriving.
“As a franchise, Apex Legends is strong and we’re looking forward to sharing exciting updates in the future.”
It’s a shame though, especially for the Southeast Asia market, given that all the best and most-played titles in the region are mostly mobile titles. Guess we’ll have to get our 3-team battle royale FPSing on using the master race platforms.
