[Rumour] Fortnite Might Have A First-Person Mode Next Season

According to the reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX on Twitter, a first-person mode is on the way in the next season of content.

It’s still unclear how this mode will be introduced into the game, but it seems it will lock players to first-person during all gameplay phases.

Speaking of the next season, rumours are swirling that Season 2 of Fortnite’s latest chapter will have a battle pass inspired by the hit anime Attack on Titan. The current season is set to end on 8 March, but it’s anyone’s guess when the next one will start.

Most likely it’ll be on 9 March, but Fortnite’s famous end-of-season events have been known to take the game offline for days, so it could be later.

Let’s take a step back and talk about the last major update, Fortnite Chapter 4. It came out at the end of last year and introduced some fantastic new skins based on gaming icons like the Doom Slayer and Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series.

But it wasn’t just cosmetic changes – Fortnite was also moved to Unreal Engine 5, which brought some serious technical improvements to the game. Nanite, Lumen, Virtual Shadow Maps, and Temporal Super Resolution are just some of the features that make Fortnite’s graphics look better than ever.
