Saints Row Is Getting New Content This Year Despite Rocky Launch
While we had a bit of fun with last year’s action-adventure sandbox title Saints Row, it’s a far cry from the past games which had better, well, everything. Still, developer Volition isn’t giving up on the 2022 reboot.
Volition has shared a new post-launch roadmap, with new paid and free content coming in before the end of August. Based on the roadmap below, we may be getting a fully fleshed-out version of the wasteland warrior LARP sidequest that ended up being the only few highlights of the game.
Here’s what they have in store:
April:
-Dead Island 2 cosmetic pack (free),
May:
-Expansion Pass: The Heist and the Hazardous featuring new story missions, events, cosmetics, and more (paid)
-New Update featuring new district, combat overhaul, photo mode and more (free)
July:
-Expansion Pass:Doc Ketchum’s Murder Circus (Paid, new solo mode)
-Update: new features, improvements, etc. (free)
August:
-Expansion Pass: Expansion 3 with new story missions, enemies, cosmetics, and more (Paid)
-Update: new district, new features, improvements, and more (free)
