Now, let’s dive into the exciting world of Adol Christin’s new escapade and meet some fresh faces. First up, we have Leif Yvelise, a childhood buddy of Glenn and Cruz, two other key players in the game. Leif isn’t a local Karnack resident; he’s a migrant worker who hails from outside the city. Then we have Mirabel Asrad, a bubbly nurse at the Karnack clinic, which her dad happens to run. She’s got a heart of gold, but don’t be fooled—she’s also got nerves of steel.

Hold on tight, because things are about to get mysterious. Meet Lila, an enigmatic lady who manages to communicate with Adol through a seashell he found on Karnack’s sandy shores. She’s got a favour to ask, and it seems she’s holed up somewhere in the Gulf of Obelia. As if that’s not intriguing enough, we’ve got an old man with no name, suffering from amnesia, living a solitary life in a teeny-tiny hut on an island. Surprisingly, he’s an expert when it comes to teaching folks how to harness mana. Talk about a fascinating bunch!

Now, let’s talk gameplay. Nihon Falcom has whipped up a shiny new feature: the naval battle system. Get ready to set sail and explore the stunning Gulf of Obelia, all while engaging in epic sea skirmishes aboard the mighty ship, Sandras. And guess what? You can even upgrade the vessel! Naval battles are all about strategy—positioning your ship wisely, selecting the right cannonballs for different effects, and aiming with precision at the enemy. When facing formidable foes, you might need to board their ship directly once you’ve dealt enough damage. Oh, and keep an eye out for merchant vessels acting as wandering shops.
