Hollow Knight: Silksong Is Delayed Past First Half Of 2023

After much waiting and after 6 years, we’re finally getting news about Hollow Knight’s sequel. Hope you like waiting a bit longer, though.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is delayed beyond its previously planned “first half of 2023” release window according to developers Team Cherry.

“We had planned to release [Hollow Knight: Silksong] the first half of 2023, but development is still continuing. We’re excited by how the game is shaping up, and it’s gotten quite big, so we want to take the time to make the game as good as we can. Expect more details from us once we get closer to release.”

That’s great news, considering the project has been silent for a while. I’m very sure fans of this search action game with the dark tunnels & challenging boss fights wouldn’t mind waiting a bit longer for its eventual release. Something something a delayed game is eventually good, a rushed game is forever bad.

Hollow Knight: Silksong will be out for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
