Marvel, Star Wars & Black Sails Actor Ray Stevenson Has Passed Away At 58

Irish actor Ray Stevenson has passed away at the age of 58, according to reports by Variety and other publications. The cause of death has not currently been officially confirmed.

The late actor was well known for many iconic roles, including Frank Castle in Punisher War Zone, Thor’s friend Volstagg in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Gar Saxon in the Star Wars The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels animated shows, as well as Blackbeard in the series, Black Sails.

He also recently appeared in S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR and is set to star as a character named Baylon in the upcoming live-action Star Wars series Ahsoka on Disney+, which will now be one of his final starring roles.
