Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR Receives A CGI Announcement Trailer

Ubisoft just dropped a bombshell at their recent Ubisoft Forward event by introducing Assassin’s Creed Nexus. This game, set to launch during the holiday season of 2023, will be the first in the series to offer players a thrilling first-person perspective.

Assassin’s Creed Nexus is like a compilation of the series’ greatest hits, allowing players to step into the shoes of three iconic characters from previous AC games: Ezio, Kassandra, and Connor. Prepare to dive into “untold stories” from three different time periods and immerse yourself in their worlds. And here’s the exciting part: you’ll be able to physically perform those legendary AC moves we all know and love. Picture yourself reaching over your shoulder to grab a bow or executing a subtle flick of the wrist to unleash a hidden blade. Plus, brace yourself for the VR version of the iconic leap of faith, which might just give you a heart-pounding experience.

But Ubisoft has made sure to include various accessibility features in the game. They’ve implemented a teleportation movement system for players who prefer it, as well as options to cater to those with a fear of heights, among other considerations. It’s worth noting that Ubisoft first hinted at a VR version of Assassin’s Creed back in 2020, so it’s great to see it come to life now.

Nexus is just one part of Ubisoft’s ambitious plan to expand the Assassin’s Creed universe. They have a lot in store for us, including this year’s Mirage, a mobile spinoff, and a future title set in feudal-era Japan. It’s safe to say that fans will have plenty of exciting adventures ahead, whether they’re diving into the virtual realm or exploring the vast world of Assassin’s Creed on other platforms.
