Michelle Yeoh – American Born Chinese, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the TenRings 

Fan favourite Michelle Yeoh, is truly an icon in the film industry, making history as the first Asian woman to win an Oscar for Best Actress. Suki Low – Pinocchio 

Born in Seremban, Suki Low, a multi-talented singer-songwriter flaunts her vocal talents in the Malaysian dubbed version of Pinocchio. Watch as her voice shines through the characters in the film as Fabiana the puppeteer and Sabina her marionette who are Pinocchio’s friends in the Disney live-action film. Celebrate her standout performance in the film as she showcases her impressive and dynamic voice-acting.  

Adele Lim – Raya and The Last Dragon 

A successful career woman in the film industry, Adele Lim is a well-known screenwriter who has laid the foundation for Southeast Asian representation in Hollywood. Born and raised in Petaling Jaya, she illustrates Asian culture in her screen-writing which birthed Disney’s first Southeast Asian warrior princess in the 2021 Oscar nominated animated feature, Raya and The Last Dragon.  

Lyon Liew – Coco, Luca, Incredibles 2, Turning Red 

Lyon Liew, the lead technical director at Pixar Animation Studios never ceases to move audiences with his work in animations such as the Oscar-nominated and tear-jerker, Turning Red. Lyon led his team in the creation of Mei’s panda character – making sure its fur moved realistically.
