Penny’s Big Breakaway Features Yoyos & 3D Platforming; Out Early 2024

Need a new 3D platforming fix? You may have to wait a while if you want one with yoyos.

Penny’s Big Breakaway is a new 3D platformer from the makers of Sonic Mania. It’s about a girl named Penny who is a whiz at using a yoyo to fight foes and pull off platforming tricks. She made an enemy out of Emperor Eddy, and has to explore and blaze through the world of Macaroon to escape his wrath. Said escapade will involve lots of platforming, swinging, time trials, and fun 3D action that’s reminiscent of the old PS1 platformers back in the day.

Penny’s Big Breakaway is out for Nintendo Switch in early 2024.
