Under The Waves Receives August 2023 Release Date

Under the Waves, the deep-sea exploration narrative game finally has a release date and is set for 29 August on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The release date was announced in a brand new trailer showcasing some gameplay and more of the narrative story that was shown at this year’s Summer Game Fest.

Revealed at last year’s Gamescom’s Opening Night Live show, Under the Waves is a new narrative-driven adventure game brought to us by publishers Quantic Dream and developer Parallel Studio.

This will be Quantic Dream’s third game since they decided to expand their business model back in 2019. That’s when they made a deal with NetEase and shifted gears into multi-platform development and self-publishing. And let me tell you, their previous publishing projects were pretty cool too. They brought us Jo-Mei’s Sea of Solitude: Director’s Cut and Dustborn from Red Thread Games.
