Deadpool 3 Stops Filming Due To SAG-AFTRA Strike
According to a report by Variety, Deadpool 3 has stopped filming due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, which now involves both writers and actors alike.
News of the production halt comes only several days after the movie gave us our first look at Ryan Reynolds in costume as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman in the iconic yellow costume of Wolverine.

The SAG-AFTRA union represents over 160,000 performers, including actors, announcers, hosts, DJs, stunt performers and broadcast journalists. They are currently seeking wage equity and improved working conditions, as well as other issues such as AI likenesses, residuals from streaming content and more.
Deadpool 3 is slated to premiere next year on 3 May 2024, which is less than a year from now. The movie will also star Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Jennifer Garner as Elektra.
