Geek Slate, Reverts Back To Geek Fam & Cuts Ties With Avium

About six months ago, Geek Fam decided to change its name to Geek Slate after reaching an agreement involving Geek Fam, Avant Talents, and Avium. However, Geek Fam and Avant Talents have now terminated the arrangement with Avium. The reason behind this decision is that the arrangement had become unfeasible and contrary to Geek Fam’s values and ambitions.

As a result, all Geek Slate branding will be reverted back to Geek Fam, and all our competitive esports teams will continue competing under the Geek Fam name. We are currently in the process of making arrangements with different esports organizers and game publishers regarding this transition.

Despite these unfortunate turn of events, Geek Fam managed to stay afloat and ensure that our esports players and staff could continue their work without any financial worries. In fact, our players have achieved remarkable success over the past six months. They have ranked among the top 10 teams in the world in PUBGM’s Global Championship, secured 1st and 3rd place in the PMPL Malaysia (Spring and Fall seasons respectively), qualified for the Dota 2 Lima Major, and emerged as champions of the 1XPLORE Dota 2 tournament.

We stay true to our motto, “Once a Geek, always a Fam,” as we believe in the importance of family taking care of one another.

Geek Fam and Avant Talents are fully committed to protecting and enforcing their rights following the termination of the arrangement.
