Gundam Evolution Is Shutting Down After Only One Year

Bandai Namco has announced that Gundam Evolution will end service on 29 November 2023.

Gundam Evolution was originally launched for PC via Steam on 21 September 2022, followed by PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One on 30 November 2022.

Executive producer Kazuya Maruyama said:

“It is with great sadness that we are announcing the conclusion of Gundam Evolution. We wanted to create a title that brought first-person shooter fans and Gundam fans together. We challenged ourselves to create an authentic Gundam first-person shooter game that could be played globally. Unfortunately, we have determined that it is no longer possible for us to provide a service that satisfies our players.”

Updates will continue to roll out with Season 6 on 23 August 2023, which will add a new unit and two maps, and the final season on 25 October 2023, which will add a new unit and a map. A final live stream, “Mission Briefing Final,” is planned for 21 July 2023.

Sales and purchases of EVO Coins will be terminated at this time. Even after the end of sales, EVO Coins that players currently own will be usable until the end of service. There will not be refunds or returns for previously purchased EVO Coins, items, or paid services.
