Mobile Legends M5 Wild Card Tournament To Take Place In Malaysia
This year’s Mobile Legends M5 Wild Card esports tournament will take place in Southeast Asia in lieu of the 12th season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL MY).
The upcoming tournament, where new teams from different countries that aren’t in M series tournaments compete for a slot in the prestigious M5 World Championship, will take place offline in Malaysia this November according to Moonton during today’s press conference.
“Witness the new and improved format of the M Series, featuring eight participating regions and countries set to battle it out for two (2) slots in the most prestigious MLBB esports tournament of the year!
Malaysia has played host to several Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Esports international tournaments, including MSC 2022 and M1, and is home to a huge pool of talents that possess the capacity and ability to operate a world-class championship. “We’re confident of pulling off a great esports experience for our local fans once again, and welcoming international players from abroad to compete in the M5 Wild Card.”
The M5 World Championship itself will take place in the Philippines this December.
The tournament will feature eight teams from various regions all over the world:
- South Asia
- Nepal
- Bangladesh
- Vietnam
- Laos
- Brunei
- Thailand
- Mongolia
- Eastern Europe
- Central Asia
- Latin America
- Malaysia
