Pokémon Launches New Youtube Show Series
By Ali'sha Harris|July 7, 2023|0 Comment
A new YouTube show, Beyond The Pokédex, offers fans an inside look at classic and new Pokémon from The Pokémon Company.
Spruce and Maple will host each episode, which focuses on a single Pokémon, from Bulbasaur to the latest in Scarlet and Violet. Pokémon fans can now explore the franchise’s lore and learn new information on what makes each Pokémon unique – from animes, video games, trading cards, battle strategy, and much more. A new episode will be released every month, covering entries 001 to #1000 in the Pokedex.
For its debut episode, the new Pokémon YouTube series begins with a look at Sobble, the Water-type starter from Pokémon Sword and Shield. The hosts explained Sobble’s characteristics, strengths, weaknesses, appearance in the Pokémon manga, anime series, and even its debut in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Tournament. Fans and players alike would not miss a single thing when it comes to their favourite Pokémon in this new series.
The first episode of the Beyond the Pokédex YouTube series comment section has been flooded with positive feedback, calling it a “cool concept for a series” and even a few requested for the hosts to include the origins, inspirations, and behind-the-scenes design of them.
The Pokémon Company announced new Pokémon games and anime series regularly, such as the remake of 2010’s Pokémon Black and White and the recently announced Pokemon Concierge stop-motion animation series for Netflix.
Beyond The Pokédex series airs every month via The Official Pokémon Youtube Channel.
