Baldur’s Gate 3 Download Size Is Absolutely Massive

We’re only a few days away from the launch of Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC and Larian Studios has confirmed several things about the game ahead of the release. In a new blog post on Steam, the developer confirmed that Baldur’s Gate 3 will be a whopping 122 GB and that players won’t be able to pre-load the game before it officially launched at 11 pm GMT+8 on 3 August 2023.

For players who have been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 in Early Access, it’s important to note that their Early Access save games will not be compatible at launch. This means that they will have to start a fresh new game. However, there’s also some good news, at least. Baldur’s Gate 3 offers cross-saves across multiple platforms, so you can continue playing the same save when the PS5 version of the game launches on 6 September 2023.

Baldur’s Gate 3 launches for PC on 3 August 2023 and for PS5 on 6 September 2023. The Xbox Series X/S version doesn’t have a release date yet.

In case you missed it, Baldur’s Gate 3 will feature bestiality. Players can have sexual relations with a Druid that turns into a bear.
