Overwatch 2 Is Now On Steam And Is Getting Negative Reviews
When you’re a “sequel” to a beloved 2016 Blizzard game that isn’t really doing much to win over the community, you can expect a lot of backlash. A lot of gamers are showing off their “love” for the recently-out-on-Steam Overwatch 2, and it’s not looking good.
Blizzard’s free-to-play shooter is getting an onslaught of negative player reviews of Omnic proportions, with a “Mostly Negative” tag on its first day of Steam release. How many? Try 10,000+ as we speak.
Most of these reviews are most likely from old Overwatch players who were pissed off at Overwatch 2. And who can blame them? The sequel just changes the game to a free-to-play model and does not have the promised modes with skill trees and much-anticipated single-player modes that looked like it could improve the game tenfold.
