Reverse Tower Defense RPG Affogato Unveils Launch Trailer Alongside August 2023 Release Window

Publisher Spiral Up Games and developer Befun Studio have released a launch trailer for Affogato ahead of its launch date this August 2023. The game promises an immersive experience, with players forming meaningful bonds with diverse customers and engaging in strategic battles against their inner demons.

Affogato is an RPG which centres around a sorceress who runs a cafe, manages her debts, meets customers from all walks of life, and ultimately helps them overcome their greatest fears and secrets. You will be faced with a challenge based on a reverse tower defense card that will lead you to help customers in their quest to defeat their inner demons. Each stage offers a fresh and dynamic experience with ever-changing landscapes and tactical demands.

To avoid losing customers for good, routes and cards during battle must be chosen wisely. As a way to aid in battle, players will collect powerful Witch Cards, which have different abilities and powers. To overcome challenges, selecting the right cards and strategically assembling a team are essential.

Aside from the main storyline, the game also includes side quests that provide players with the opportunity to explore the bustling city of Arorua. Every choice made in the game will have a profound impact on their adventures, from mastering coffee brewing to nurturing customer relationships.

Affogato is set to launch for PC via Steam on 17 August 2023. On launch day, the game will be available at a 15 percent discount.
