Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 2 Adds New Content For Fan-Favourite Karlach

Less than one week from the first major Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 1, Larian Studios has already released Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 2, which is the game’s second major update after launching on 3 August 2023.

According to the patch notes, Baldur’s Gate 3 brings bug fixes, substantial performance improvements and more, including Withers’ Wardrobe of Wayward Friends. With this, players can now dismiss co-op party members and bring their companions back into the fold.

As well as plenty of performance improvements and UI tweaks, the update also adds a new epilogue scene for Karlach, as well as additional Karlach moments added in Acts 1 and 2, allowing her to better reflect on her infernal engine and the options available to her.

Baldur’s Gate 3 launched for PC and Mac via Steam and GOG on 3 August 2023 and is slated for PS5 on 6 September 2023. An Xbox Series X/S version will arrive sometime later in 2023.
