Get Ready For Spooky Laughs As High On Knife DLC Drops Next Week
By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|September 27, 2023|0 Comment
Squanch Games just announced the release date of High on Life’s brand-new DLC adventure, High on Knife.
Remember back in June when they teased this spooky expansion? Well, we were all left hanging without a release date, but the suspense is finally over. Mark your calendars for 3 October, and get ready to slash and laugh on Xbox, PC, and the latest PlayStation models. As for the price tag, it’s still shrouded in mystery.
So, what’s High on Knife all about? It’s a horror-themed story expansion that’s got a surprise guest star – none other than Saturday Night Live sensation, Sarah Sherman, lending her voice to the mix.
When they dropped the bomb in June, Squanch Games CEO Mike Fridley spilled the beans, saying, “High On Knife is still freaking hilarious and weird, but we’re also getting a little spooky this time around,” Don’t worry; it won’t give you nightmares that last a lifetime, but it’ll definitely make your dreams a tad weirder. Think gruesome body transformations – it starts terrible and gets even worse. Trust us on this one.
In case you missed it, High on Life landed on the gaming scene back in December 2022, hitting PC and Xbox Series X | S. Then, it made its grand entrance on PS4 and PS5 in July 2023.
What’s this game all about, you ask? Well, imagine teaming up with talking firearms to bring down an intergalactic cartel threatening humanity. At launch, High on Life made quite a splash, breaking some impressive records on Xbox Game Pass. According to Microsoft, it was the service’s biggest hit in 2022, the all-time top third-party release, and the most substantial single-player game release on the platform at the time. It’s safe to say it took the gaming world by storm.
