GUNVOLT RECORDS Cychronicle Announced, First Rhythm Game In The Franchise

INTI CREATES has announced a new spin-off title in the Azure Striker Gunvolt series, GUNVOLT RECORDS Cychronicle, to be shown at Tokyo Game Show 2023.

GUNVOLT RECORDS will feature 3 of the series’s popular singers with controls that will make players feel like they are dancing alongside the performers. At Tokyo Game Show 2023, press and visitors will be able to experience a polished slice of the game on the show floor, and we would be honored if you should take the time to try it out, should you be attending.

GUNVOLT RECORDS Cychronicle is a new rhythm music game starring the songstresses of the Azure Striker Gunvolt series, Lumen, Lola, and Luxia singing music from the series’s rich history. Players will time their button presses to a barrage of notes along two different lanes to earn high scores.

The dual analogue controls sync with the characters dancing in the 3D backgrounds for a fully immersive experience. GUNVOLT RECORDS Cychronicle will be released digitally for US$14.99, with DLC packs also available to expand the game’s track library. All included tracks and planned DLC are selected from the vast library of acclaimed vocal tracks from the Gunvolt series, including tracks used in the series 5 games, CD-only releases, and Gunvolt animated feature.

Players can listen to any of the music included in the game freely in the in-game music player. Use the included repeat and playlist functions to create your own listening mix.

GUNVOLT RECORDS Cychronicle launches for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC on 15 February 2024.
