New Godzilla Minus One Trailer Teases The King Of Monsters’ Dark & Dramatic Return

Toho has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Godzilla Minus One, which will premiere in Japan on 3 November 2023 and in the US on 1 December 2023. There is currently no release date for Malaysia.

In a statement via Gormaru, Koji Ueda, President of Toho International, said:

“Set in a post-war Japan, Godzilla Minus One will once again show us a Godzilla that is a terrifying and overwhelming force, which you already get a sense of from the teaser trailer and poster.

The concept is that Japan, which had already been devastated by the war, faces a new threat with Godzilla, bringing the country into the ‘minus.’”

Takashi Yamazaki (Lupin III: The First) is directing the new movie, which will be the 30th live-action film in Toho’s long-running kaiju franchise after 2016’s Shin Godzilla.

It’s currently unclear if Godzilla Minus One will be connected to Shin Godzilla.
