[Leak] Skate Reboot Footage Of Physics & Movement Have Surfaced

Some juicy footage of the new Skate reboot has just popped up online, and it’s been making waves on social media.

This footage isn’t just a one-time thing; EA’s been running playtests for a while now, and it seems like leaks are par for the course. But hey, no complaints here!

Now, in the previous Skate games, you could hop off your board and run around the place. But this new stuff we’re seeing hints at a whole bunch of fancy moves and tricks we’ve never seen before.

Right now, the game’s in the testing phase on PC. But don’t fret, console fans – EA’s got you covered. In a recent blog post celebrating a year of PC playtesting, they reassured everyone that console playtesting is in the pipeline. They didn’t drop a date, though, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for that.

Remember when Skate was unveiled back in June 2020? It was quite the surprise, and it even set a Twitter engagement record for EA. Good times!

This game’s free to play, by the way, and it’s the first title from Full Circle, an EA studio in Vancouver. The studio’s led by Daniel McCulloch, who used to be the big shot at Xbox Live for a solid 15 years before jumping ship in 2020.

And here’s some more good news: Skate will be all about cross-play and cross-progression, so you can shred with your buddies no matter which platform you’re on – PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. Rad, right?
