TSM Wins Back to Back to Back to be the Apex Legends Global Series 2023 Champions

What an incredible journey it has been for TSM this Championship. TSM’s ImperialHal shows the world that he really is the CEO of Apex Legends. Winning the first playoffs of the season, then coming 2nd to their rivals Darkzero and now winning it all here at Champs. The ALGS Championship 2023 kicked off on September 6, featuring five consecutive days of intense Apex Legends matches showcasing the world’s top teams.

TSM’s journey was not an easy one though. The team struggled to maintain its dominance throughout the Group Stage. By the seventh match during the Winners Bracket, TSM had only scored 28 points in total and sat in the 18th position out of 20 teams, which wasn’t a promising situation for them. With only one match left, TSM had to give it their all if they wanted to secure a spot in the Finals without having to go through the Losers Bracket Round 2 and they did just about that. In the last game they scored 21 points to shoot them up to 5th place to secure their spot for the title.

While Optic Gaming was well ahead of everyone, and were on match point from the 3rd game, TSM sat somewhere near the bottom. Before match six, TSM only had 22 points. Meanwhile, two teams were already at Match Points, Optic Gaming and Dreamfire and three others were trailing behind.

But in match six, TSM kept their composure and secured the victory with six kills. They carried this momentum into the seventh match, winning with seven kills. TSM dominated, eliminating all other teams to seize the Match Point victory and reaffirm their status as the top team in Apex Legends. Winning three matches in a row on the grand stage of ALGS seems crazy but if there is any team to do it, it’s gotta be TSM.

TSM took home a grand prize of US$600,000 with the Champion title.
