Go Home Annie Channels SCP And Horror In One Fell Swoop; Out In 2024
Do you want a first-person horror title set in a world like Control, but you’re defenseless? Well, this Misfit Village-developed game might be the thrill ride for you.
Go Home Annie is a first-person horror game set in a fictional SCP Foundation-like place, with a bunch of weird areas and dimension portal type places where you experience a unique brand of horror. You have to recreate and replicate dangerous paranormal events and anomalous entities, but also have to figure out why you’re doing this and how to alter your fate, while finding out the true story behind it all.
Publisher Nordcurrent Labs had this to say about the upcoming game it’s publishing:
“We were instantly enamoured with Go Home Annie‘s sheer imagination and execution, It was immediately clear to us that the mad geniuses at Misfit Village had a keen understanding of horror, and an original take on the genre that’s full of surprises, verve, and creative energy.”
Go Home Annie is slated for a 2024 release for PC. Key features and trailer (via The Indie Horror Showcase) are below:
