Modern Warfare 3 Beta Weekend: When To Play & How To Redeem A Beta Code

This weekend is going to be a fun one for fans of Call of Duty and the Modern Warfare series. After all, these few months are basically CoD season with Modern Warfare 3 coming out next month.

There’s going to be a beta weekend for PlayStation and PC fans out there who want to get their hands on multiplayer early on. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming beta.

 

When Is The Modern Warfare 3 Beta Weekend?

It’s happening at 1am, 15 October GMT+8 (Malaysia, SG, The Philippines). If you preordered the game, you can play it on 13 October, 1am GMT+8.

If you live in other places and countries, here are the respective starting times in the following timezones:

  • 10 am PT, 14 October (Los Angeles)
  • 1 pm ET, 14 October (New York)
  • 6 pm BST, 14 October (London)
  • 7 pm CEST, 14 October (Berlin)
  • 4 am AEST, 15 October (Sydney)

 

Where To Redeem MW3 Beta Code

Head to callofduty.com/betaredeem to redeem your 13-digit code. If you preordered the game through Steam, Battle.net or the Microsoft Store, you don’t need a code to play the early portion of the beta and game.

 

What Can You Play In The Modern Warfare 3 Beta?

You can play a lot of multiplayer modes on a bunch of maps. Here’s the list:

Maps:

  • Estate – Indoor and wooded outdoor property
  • Skidrow – Outdoor area with tight alleyways
  • Rust – An under-construction skyscraper site
  • Highrise – Rooftops of a New York skyscraper and internal offices
  • Orlov Military Base (Ground War mode only) – Military base and warehouses
  • Popov Power (Ground War mode only) – A large power plant site

Modes:

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Domination
  • Hardpoint
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Cutthroat
  • Search & Destroy
  • Ground War

You can earn the following exclusive rewards if you play through the beta and gain the following levels:

  • Level 2: Animated Emblem
  • Level 7: Weapon Charm
  • Level 9: Animated Calling Card
  • Level 11: Sticker
  • Level 15: Vinyl
  • Level 20: Weapon Blueprint
  • Level 24: Sticker
  • Level 30: Operator Skin
