Oshi No Ko Ruby Hoshino Voice Actor Will Be At Cos-Mic 2023 Malaysia

Yurie Igoma, the talented voice actress behind the character Ruby Hoshino from the popular anime series Oshi no Ko, will be attending Cos-Mic 2023 in Malaysia as a special guest.

This exciting news was announced on Oshi no Ko’s official social platforms with a video of the voice actress revealing the details.

As revealed, Yurie Igoma has been invited to be a special guest for the upcoming Cos-Mic 2023 event, which is set to take place this November. The event promises to be a fantastic opportunity for fans to meet and interact with Yurie Igoma, further deepening their appreciation for her remarkable talent and dedication to her craft.

Yurie Igoma lends her voice to Ruby Hoshino, one of the leading characters in the anime series Oshi no Ko, which centres around an idol group and the entertainment industry. Ruby Hoshino is a reincarnated Sarina Tendouji who sets out to fulfil her dream of becoming an idol.

The manga is penned by Aka Akasaka, the author of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, the creator of Scum’s Wish. The anime series debuted on Netflix on 13 April 2023 and garnered worldwide popularity due to its captivating storyline and interesting characters. Read our review of Oshi no Ko Season 1.

As well as meeting Yurie Igoma, Cos-Mic 2023 also revealed the Artist Alley, featuring booths of Malaysian artists and illustrators. Furthermore, the organizers recently shared the key visual and theme song titled “My Cos-Mic.” The key visual, created by Shikabashi, a Spine 2D Animator, captures the essence of the event and sets the tone for the overall experience. Complementing the visual, Xomu, a music composer, has crafted a captivating theme song that adds another layer of excitement and anticipation to Cos-Mic 2023.

Cos-Mic 2023 will take place at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from 3 to 5 November 2023. Visit the Cos-Mic Facebook page for more updates.
