Paper Mario-Inspired Born of Bread Set To Rise On Consoles & PC December 2024

Publisher Dear Villagers and developer WildArts have announced their highly anticipated 2.5D adventure RPG game, Born of Bread will be coming out of the oven in early December 2023.

In a press release, WildArts lead designer and programmer Nicolas Lamarche said;

“We’re so excited to be able to bring people Born of Bread in time for the holidays, as it’s a wholesome adventure that feels perfect for the whole family. Born of Bread was inspired by classic comedy RPGs of our childhood that have remained a part of us in the decades that followed. Thankfully the genre has remained evergreen and we think fans of all ages will be nourished by Loaf’s journey.”

Bringing back classic cartoony RPGs with fun characters and charming stories for children and adults alike, Born of Bread is a turn-based role-playing adventure full of fun characters and delightful storylines.

Players will take on the role of a sentient flour golem characterized by its innocent and inquisitive nature as well as possessing unique abilities. Enjoy an adventure in a fantasy world teeming with enchantment and mystery, from enigmatic ruins to freezing landscapes. Encounter a diverse array of vibrant characters who are sure to captivate your imagination. These characters will contribute their own distinct set of skills to the group, whether it be combat or exploration. Get ready to immerse yourself in a world full of awe and excitement!

Born of Bread is set slated to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on 5 December 2023.
