Bloober Team Gives Update On Silent Hill 2 Remake
It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything concrete about the Silent Hill 2 Remake, so developer Bloober Team has provided an update to clear the air and clarify any fake rumours swirling around.
Their statement on Twitter reads:
As Bloober Team, we are proud to be a part of Konami’s plans for the Silent Hill franchise. Alongside our partner, we are working to ensure the Silent Hill 2 remake attains the highest quality.
On behalf of our development team, we would like to clarify that the production is progressing smoothly and in accordance with our schedule. We understand that many players around the world are eagerly anticipating news about the game, and we appreciate your dedication.
However, we kindly ask for a bit more patience. Once Konami, as the game’s publisher, shares more information, we are confident that the wait will be worthwhile.

The Silent Hill 2 Remake was originally announced back in October 2022 during a PlayStation State Of Play livestream, but the game hasn’t received a proper release date or release window yet. It is slated to launch for the PS5 and PC.
