FromSoftware’s Owner Confirms Smooth Progress In Elden Ring DLC Development

The Elden Ring expansion development is progressing smoothly, according to a recent update from FromSoftware’s parent company Kadokawa in their latest earnings report.

The DLC’s release timing hasn’t been revealed yet, but the company assured that the development is going well. They mentioned their dedicated efforts in a Q&A session but clarified that the release date has not been announced.

The expansion, named Shadow of the Erdtree, was announced in February, but specific details about it are still pending confirmation. Elden Ring, which initially came out in February 2022 and was highly successful, is set to receive this expansion.

Bandai Namco, the game’s publisher, claimed just before Elden Ring’s first anniversary that the game had sold an impressive 20 million copies. The game received an update in December, unlocking various Colosseums on the map for PvP battles like duels, free-for-alls, and team fights.
