Netflix Releases New Clip From Star-Studded Disaster Movie Leave The World Behind

During Netflix Geeked Week 2023, Netflix unveiled a new clip from Leave The World Behind, a new movie from Mr. Robot showrunner Sam Esmail.

Leave the World Behind stars Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke as a couple whose weekend getaway in a rental home with their kids (played by Charlie Evans and Farrah Mackenzie) goes sideways when it becomes clear some kind of disaster is creeping in. They’re soon joined by the vacation home’s owners, a father and daughter played by Mahershala Ali and Myha’la, who bring even more distressing news from the outside world.

Leave the World Behind, based on the 2020 National Book Award-nominated novel by Rumaan Alam, premieres on Netflix on 8 December 2023.
