Tekken 8 Adds The Franchise’s First French Character, Victor Chevalier

Bandai Namco announced that the new character Victor Chevalier will be coming to Tekken 8, which will launch for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 26 January 2023.

According to franchise creator Katsuhiro Harada (via Twitter), he said:

Victor is actually the first French fighter for the TEKKEN franchise. I have had the idea of a French character in my mind for a long time and it finally came to fruition. Thanks to Vincent Cassel for inspiring me and for voicing him. And the stage is Paris itself, where I took my first Seine River cruise over 20 years ago.

He will join a roster with 32 fighters at launch, which includes Nina Williams, Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama, Paul Phoenix, Lars Alexandersson, Jack-8, Jun Kazama, Ling Xioayu, Leroy Smith, Asuka Kazama, Lili, Hwoarang and more.
