The Batman movie skin for Arkham Knight has been officially confirmed, a month after it was mistakenly added to the PC version.

This new skin allows players to don the suit from the 2022 film starring Robert Pattinson as Batman. It was created for the Batman: Arkham Trilogy, set to release on Nintendo Switch on December 1, featuring Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight along with all previously released DLC.

The Switch version of Arkham Knight in this compilation will debut the new Batman skin on its 1 December release. Warner Bros Games announced that the skin will be available as a free download for PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of Arkham Knight starting 15 December.

PC players had a brief encounter with The Batman suit in October when it was unintentionally added to the Epic Games Store version. Initially thought to be a stealth release, the skin, named “The Batman – 2022” with the description “I am the shadows,” was noticed by players before being promptly removed.

Originally set for release on Switch on 13 October, the Arkham Trilogy was delayed for two months. The official Twitter account cited the need for more time to provide the best possible experience on Nintendo Switch, expressing apologies to eager fans and thanking them for their patience. Developed for Nintendo’s console by Turn Me Up Games, known for Switch versions of It Takes Two, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, and Borderlands Legendary Collection.
