The Brothers Sun Starring Michelle Yeoh Teases Action-Packed Trailer; Drops January 2024

During the Netflix Geeked Week 2023 live stream, Netflix announced The Brothers Sun, an upcoming slick Asian American crime drama starring Academy Award Winner, Michelle Yeoh.

The story begins with a Taiwanese triad leader getting shot by an unknown assailant, setting off a thrilling and comedic family drama. In order to safeguard his mother, Eileen Sun, and his innocent younger brother, Bruce, Charles “Chairleg” Sun, a renowned assassin, must travel to Los Angeles. This journey exposes Bruce to the hidden secrets and dangerous reality of their family for the first time.

Several new actors will be joining the cast in recurring roles. These include Alice Hewkin, known for her appearances in The Crown and Sex Education, Jon Xue Zhang, who has been seen in Marvel’s Eternals and The Gentleman, Jenny Yang, known for Busy Tonight with Busy Philipps, Madison Hu, who has starred in The Boogeyman and Bizaardvark, and Rodney To, known for his roles in Easter Sunday and Parks & Recreation.

The Brothers Sun is coming to Netflix on 4 January 2024.
