Ultraman Rising Trailer Teases A Dazzling Animated Take For The Giant Hero

During Netflix Geeked Week 2o23, Netflix unveiled the first trailer for the Ultraman Rising animated movie, which will premiere sometime in 2024.

The synopsis reads:

When baseball superstar Ken Sato returns home to Japan to pick up the mantle of Earth-defending superhero Ultraman, he quickly finds more than he bargained for as he’s forced to raise the offspring of his greatest foe.

Christopher Sean (You, Hawaii Five-O, Star Wars Resistance) leads the cast as Ken Sato/Ultraman. He’s joined by Gedde Watanabe (Sixteen Candles, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, The Summit of the Gods) as Professor Sato, Tamlyn Tomita (The Good Doctor, Cobra Kai, the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender) as Emiko Sato, Keone Young (Crank, Men in Black 3, Star Wars Rebels) as Dr. Onda, and Julia Harriman as Ami.

In a teaser for Ultraman Rising, you’ll get a glimpse at just one of those hurdles: a baby kaiju, who imprints on Ultraman and turns his world upside down. Directed by Shannon Tindle, the creator of Lost Ollie, this is an adventure you won’t want to miss.
