Death Stranding Director’s Cut For iOS Delayed To Early 2024
Publisher 505 Games has recently announced that the anticipated Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding Director’s Cut has been delayed for the Apple iPhone, iPad and Mac versions. Initially, it was originally scheduled for release this year, but due to more time being required, it will not be launched as expected.
In a post on X/Twitter, the publisher stated:
Here at @505_Games and @KojiPro2015_EN, we are excited to launch #DeathStrandingDC on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. We just need a little more time!
Stay tuned for a new release date in early 2024.

The upcoming game will be compatible with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPads and Macs equipped with M1 chips or later.
Back in June at the iPhone maker’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Kojima Productions confirmed that Death Stranding Director’s Cut will support Apple platforms, “This is just the beginning, and we are actively working to bring our future titles to Apple platforms,” said Kojima.
Although the Metal Gear creator did not provide specific details, Kojima Productions officially announced they are working with A24 for the Death Stranding movie. Additionally, they are collaborating with Xbox Game Studios to develop a horror game titled “OD.”
Death Stranding Director’s Cut is slated to launch sometime in early 2024.
