Exciting Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Epilogue DLC Slated For January 2024
The Pokémon Company has revealed its intention to launch an epilogue for the downloadable content (DLC) titled “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero” in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
This new content, scheduled for release on Thursday, 11 January 2024, is anticipated to bring the Scarlet and Violet storyline to a conclusion on the Nintendo Switch.
To access “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero” epilogue, players are required to have completed a specific postgame event and finished the main stories in both “The Teal Mask” and “The Indigo Disk,” as outlined by TPC.
“The Indigo Disk” represents the latest and presumably final significant addition to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which launched earlier in the current month.
This DLC, featuring a visit to Blueberry Academy in the Unova region, introduces numerous new Pokémon to the games.
In our firsthand experience with “The Indigo Disk,” we noted, “The Indigo Disk appears poised to conclude this phase of Pokémon on a positive note. Despite lingering issues with the base game of Scarlet and Violet, this expansion seems more substantial than ‘The Teal Mask’ and is likely to acquaint a new generation of trainers with the intricate battles that have always been a part of Pokémon.”
“For years, Pokémon enthusiasts have been clamouring for a challenging Pokémon game, and ‘The Indigo Disk’ might just deliver that experience—assuming you can tear yourself away from the pursuit of capturing a shiny Oshawott.”
