FaZe Clan’s Star AWPer Leaves Counter-Strike Roster

FaZe Clan has officially announced Twistzz’s departure, marking the end of an era for one of the most successful teams in Counter-Strike history.

After enduring a period of competitive struggles, FaZe Clan initiated a roster rebuild centred around Havard “rain” Nygaard and Helvijs “broky” Saukants, the team’s longest-standing members. Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken, a highly skilled AWPer renowned for his exceptional aim and tactical expertise, was a key addition, along with the signings of in-game leader, Finn “karriganAndersen, and Robin “ropz” Kool.

This meticulously assembled roster, anchored by the veteran presence of broky and rain, represented a new phase for FaZe Clan. However, the departure of Twistzz, one of their standout players, has begun to weaken the once formidable team.

Twistzz is reportedly set to return to Team Liquid, his former team where he achieved his first Grand Slam. FaZe Clan expressed gratitude for Twistzz’s contributions on X, acknowledging the creation of lifelong memories, celebrated championships, and unforgettable moments.

Having won eight championships with FaZe Clan, including a second Grand Slam, Twistzz’s departure leaves a notable gap in the roster. Despite the emotional tribute video released by FaZe Clan, the organization has not disclosed who will replace Twistzz. Furthermore, Team Liquid has not officially confirmed Twistzz’s return, leaving the roster with only two members following the removal of Joshua “oSee” Ohm, Aleks “Rainwaker” Petrov, and Robert “Patsi” Isyanov.
