xccurate Set To Debut For T1 In AfreecaTV VALORANT League

Kevin “xccurate” Susanto is set to make his debut with T1 in the AfreecaTV VALORANT League, facing off against the formidable Chinese team EDward Gaming. Known for his impressive career in Counter-Strike, xccurate played for several top-tier teams in Indonesia and internationally, including Jakarta Juggernauts, Recca Esports, TYLOO, Big Time Regal Gaming, and Team NKT.

Xccurate gained attention with Recca Esports, leading the team to victory in the ZEN Esports Network League Season 1. His outstanding performance caught the eye of TYLOO, where he played a key role alongside Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand. Together, they achieved notable success in major tournaments like the FACEIT London Major and IEM Katowice Major.

Despite being new to VALORANT, xccurate had prior experience with the game while playing for Team NKT and NG Esports. Notably, he faced mixed teams like VVV and reached the quarter-finals of the 2021 VCT Indonesia Stage 2 Challengers 3 with them. Additionally, xccurate has family ties to the esports scene, being the older brother of Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto, a standout player for Paper Rex.

The upcoming match against EDward Gaming in the AfreecaTV VALORANT League is intriguing due to the generational differences between the players. None of the EDward Gaming players were active professionals during xccurate’s prime years with TYLOO, considered by many as the peak of Chinese Counter-Strike. Xccurate, along with North American import Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo, is confirmed to be part of T1’s starting lineup for this match, marking their fourth encounter with EDward Gaming in the last six months. This matchup promises to be a thrilling spectacle, especially considering the potential showdown between the Susanto brothers if both T1 and Paper Rex advance from their groups.
