Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Demo Is Out Now On PS5
By Alleef Ashaari|February 7, 2024|0 Comment
The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo is now available on PS5 via PlayStation Store. It’s around 48+GB to download. Also, be careful that you’re downloading the correct version.
There are two versions on the R3 PlayStation Store for thos in Southeast Asia; a Japanese/English version (which is the one you should download) and a Chinese/Korean version.
The demo allows you to not only take control of the protagonist, Cloud, but take full control of the legendary swordsman Sephiroth in battle. You will be able to play as Sephiroth as part of the extended flashback section, as Cloud recalls an earlier mission in his career as a Soldier, the Nibelheim incident. Taking place several years before the events of the game, this will set the stage for several important moments within Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo save data will offer a kupo charm and adventuring items set in the full game.
Players who complete the Nibelheim episode will be able to skip the same section in the full game.
What’s more, there will be an update later this month that will allow you to explore part of the Junon region in the demo before the release of the full game.
It’s been almost four years since Final Fantasy VII Remake when Final Fantasy VII Rebirth eventually launches exclusively for the PS5 on 29 February 2024.
In the meantime, check out our interviews with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth producer Yosuke Futami and director Naoki Hamaguchi.
