Hideo Kojima Announces Physint, New Action Espionage Game Coming After Death Stranding 2

During the PlayStation State Of Play January 2024 live stream, Head of PlayStation Studios Hermen Hulst, and founder of Kojima Productions Hideo Kojima, announced that they’re returning to the action-espionage genre with PHYSINT, a new project coming to PlayStation.

According to Kojima, it will be a brand new IP and it will be in development after Death Stranding 2 releases. He also described the game as being a “movie” in terms of “look, story, theme, cast, acting, fashion and sound”. However, no other details were revealed and it’s likely that we won’t be hearing about this game for a while, especially since Kojima is also making a game for Xbox titled OD.

In the same showcase, Kojima also unveiled a new trailer for Death Stranding 2.
