Riot Games’ Project L Fighting Game Gets New Official Name, 2XKO
Riot Games has announced that the League Of Legends spinoff fighting game, Project L, has received a new official title and name, 2XKO.
The trailer also reveals our first look at a new playable character, Illaoi.

2XKO will be a 2v2 tag-based fighting game featuring playable characters such as Darius, Ekko, Ahri, Yasuo and more.
According to the developers, the game is pronounced Two-Ex-Kay-O, or exactly as the name is spelt.
2XKO is slated to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC sometime in 2025.
In other related news, Riot Games laid off more than 500 employees and shut down the Riot Forge label just last month in January 2024.
