Sonic X Shadow Generations Out This Autumn 2024

Sega has announced a new 3D platformer entry in the Sonic franchise. And it’s bringing some darkness into the fold.

Sega will be releasing 3D platformer Sonic X Shadow Generations, which will have Sonic The Hedgehog and 2000s edgelord Shadow The Hedgehog teaming up to go through a slew of 3D stages both old and new (and 2D ones). The announcement was made during PlayStation State of Play February 1st 2024, so it’s definitely coming out for PlayStation 5 consoles. The game will be multiplatform, so they’ll be a PC and Xbox version.
